This Program is designed to develop wreck diving skills to ensure that divers are aware of self-responsibility and capable of risk management in non-penetration wreck environments.

How deep can you dive with this Program?

• No dives may be conducted to depths greater than diver’s previous certification level.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

• Certifications requirements:

  • IANTD Sidemount Open Water Diver or equivalent.

What is the minimum materials requirements?

• IANTD Wreck Diver Student Kit.

What this program must include?

• Academic Sessions, PowerPoint Slides, Academic Videos

• Confined Water Sessions

• Open Water Sessions Included: 

• Perform an “S” drill prior to commencement of all dives.

• Practice different propulsion techniques like:

• Modified flutter

• Modified frog,

• Reverse kick

• Standard shuffle kick.

• Natural Navigating on a wreck

• Buoyancy Control

• Identification of wreck features

• Avoiding wreck hazards

• Practice sidemount diving equipment configuration including redundancy and streamlining.

• Determine SAC rate and RMV on each Open water dive

• Free Flow management

• Wreck Mapping
